On June 14, 2019, Diosdado M. San Antonio, Director IV, Officer-in-Charge, Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction of the Department of Education, and LCC Chairperson officially met the Council Representatives and presided over the 138th Council Meeting held at the Philippine Information Agency in Quezon City. Vital discussions on the preparation for 2019 National Literacy Conference, Development of LCC Coffee Table Book, procedural guidelines relative to the future conducts of Functional Literacy, Education and Mass Media Survey (FLEMMS) as raised by the Council Representatives, and updates on LCC undertakings were the highlights of the said meeting.
The said event was successfully concluded as the new LCC Chairperson, Council Representatives and the LCC Secretariat posed together during the Photo Opportunity.
